Canned Heat on yhdysvaltalainen vuonna 1965 Los Angelesissa perustettu, blues rock -pohjaista musiikkia soittava yhtye. Alkuperäiskokoonpanon jäseniin kuuluivat Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson, Bob "The Bear" Hite ja Henry Vestine. Larry "The Mole" Taylor ja Frank Cook olivat mukana levytyksissä studiomuusikkoina (Cook oli rumpalina vain ensimmäisellä albumilla).

Yhtye esiintyi sekä Montereyssä 1967 että Woodstockissa festivaalin toisena päivänä 1969.

Turun Ruisrockissa vuonna 1971 yhtye saavutti huikean suosion; solistina nähtiin Hiten ohella itse John Lee Hooker.
